A Sold-Out Pompey Business Hub Brings the Local Business Community Together
Yesterday’s Pompey Business Hub event at Fratton Park delivered everything the event has become known for — and more.
With over 70 directors and business owners from across Hampshire and beyond, the Victory Suite was buzzing for a sold-out networking lunch at one of the South’s most iconic venues.
As always, the setting played its part. Fratton Park provided a brilliant backdrop, paired with a standout lunch that gave attendees the chance to slow down, sit together and properly connect, something that sets Pompey Business Hub apart from more traditional networking formats.
A key highlight of the afternoon was the guest speaker session with Claire Martin MBE, CEO of Pompey in the Community. Claire shared powerful insight into the charity’s work across Portsmouth, supporting people from all walks of life and making a tangible difference across the city.
Clare recently completed the Pompey Plod, running five marathons in five days covering 100 miles across the city as part of a centenary challenge that aimed to leave a lasting legacy for Portsmouth.
The feedback following the event was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising both the quality of connections made and the value added by the speaker session.
Pompey Business Hub continues to grow, not just in numbers, but in impact. Events like this show the strength of the local business community when the right people are brought together in the right environment.
