It was a scorcher of a day for another sold-out Network My Club networking lunch at the Amex Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
For the first time, the event was hosted in HB’s Restaurant, a room with panoramic views over the stadium that went down brilliantly with attendees and suited the event perfectly.
👇 Here are the highlights, with event photos here 📸.

The event opened with arrival teas, coffees, and open networking, with guests treated to stunning views of the stadium, on an equally stunning day.
Then followed a two course lunch, an introduction to the venue, the event partner, and NMC updates to share too.
Before the second half of the event allowed for more open networking and chance to start or continue conversations.
Venue Updates
After lunch, Sophie Shepherd from the Amex Stadium shared the latest from the venue.
From the launch of the new Brighton & Hove Albion kit, launched that day and already up on the digital screens around the stadium, along with details of the World Cup screenings taking place on The Terrace, including England v Norway.
Sophie also shared the venue’s half year figures for conferences and events. So far in 2026, the team has hosted more than 400 events and served over 30,000 covers. Enough to fill the entire stadium!

Developing Young Leaders, with Event Partner; LMI UK
Next up was Nick Howes, Managing Director of LMI UK, a leadership and management organisation supporting companies of all sizes to develop young leaders.
Nick shared specifically the trends he’s seeing in businesses working with young talent, and how LMI UK helps through its Young Leaders Programme and Making of a Champion programme.
It wasn’t just a conversation about young leaders themselves, but about the people leading them too. Plenty in the room, employing young people with real ambitions to grow within their businesses, could relate. And the young leaders in the room took plenty away from it as well.
Nick also shared LMI UK’s free, on demand Making of a Champion online workshop, and news that LMI UK is launching a new community interest company to give organisations without the resource for leadership and management training access to it, specifically for their young leaders.

Membership & Event Updates
Network My Club Founder, Bradley Hatchett, closed the afternoon with membership and event updates, welcoming new members across the group, including several joining from the room, and thanking renewing members doing the same.
He also reminded members of the venue membership benefit, which includes complimentary use of an executive box at the Amex Stadium for an off-site meeting space for up to ten people.
Members, login to your dashboard to find out how to claim it.
The next event at Amex Stadium is Wednesday 9 September, with more dates across the south, London and beyond also on the calendar.
Bookings are open for that, and other events coming up here.
