The Newbury Racecourse Business Club, powered by Network My Club, delivered again.

Another full house in the Fred Winter Suite.

Another sold-out networking event bringing together directors and business owners from across Berkshire and the surrounding areas.

👇 Here are the highlights – with the event photos here 📸.

With 70 directors and business owners in attendance, the room had a strong mix of Network My Club members and first-time visitors experiencing the event for the first time.

Everyone was welcomed with refreshments, a private paid bar, and delicious lunch before the afternoon’s programme got underway.

A Tip or Two from a Former Jockey

Following lunch, guests were entertained by David Crosse, tipster and former jockey, who gave an entertaining insight into life on the track and shared his tips for the day’s racing.

David also picked out a couple of winners on the day, much to the delight of those who took his advice.

Exciting News from Newbury Racecourse

After David, Bradley Hatchett, Founder of Network My Club, introduced James Bazeley, Business Development Manager at Newbury Racecourse.

James shared a number of exciting upcoming opportunities at the racecourse, including:

The Inaugural Golf Day – coming this summer, a brand new addition to the Newbury Racecourse events calendar.

Party in the Paddock – a series of race days with live music acts that will have you staying long after the last race. Acts confirmed include:

  • The Gypsy Kings
  • Tinie Tempah
  • Ronan Keating
  • Jessie J

To give the occasion an extra touch, James also donated 4 tickets to one of the Party in the Paddock race days for a prize draw on the day.

James also highlighted further opportunities at the racecourse, including the new Laurent-Perrier Lounge as an option for hosting private events, as well as a range of partnership opportunities for businesses looking to align with the venue.

A Memorable Experience Included

For the afternoon, guests took to the private balcony to enjoy 7 races in style, between lots of networking time and conversation.

But the standout moment of the day came after the racing, when David Crosse took guests down to the final hurdle to watch the horses up close.

It’s not something you get to do every day.

And certainly not something you experience at your average networking event.

Moments like that are what set the Newbury Racecourse Business Club apart.

Thank You to Title Sponsors

A huge thank you to Maureen, Jules, and Andrew from Apple Print & Creative, who were there on the day as title sponsors of the Newbury Racecourse Business Club.
