Highlights: Summer Networking Social at Fulham Pier

It was a Network My Club Summer Networking Social to remember in London with Fulham Pier, the newly opened riverside venue at Fulham Football Club.

Around 100 directors and business owners from across London and the surrounding areas joined us in the Waters Edge lounge for an afternoon that ran into the evening.

The sun shone for us throughout, the venue lived up to the anticipation, and the atmosphere was exactly the kind of networking we like to deliver.

The Afternoon

The event opened with welcome drinks, open networking inside and outside, followed by a lunch buffet, followed by a dim sum station and a paid bar throughout.

A live DJ and saxophonist played across the afternoon, setting the tone for what we wanted this event to be. Not a formal function, but a relaxed social with the right people in the room starting or continuing conversations.

Founder of Network My Club, Bradley Hatchett, welcomed guests before introducing Chris Wickham, Head of Sales at Fulham Pier, who spoke about the venue and its plans.

Chris, along with Daniel Blunn from the venue, also offered private tours of the spaces at Fulham Pier throughout the afternoon, giving guests the chance to see more of what the venue has to offer.

With around 100 people in the room, many NMC members and plenty of first-time attendees, the afternoon had a relaxed, feel-good energy to it.

The Venue

A venue with a real wow factor from the outside and the moment you walk inside.

The event was hosted in the Waters Edge Lounge, one of the many standout spaces at Fulham Pier.

On one side, views across the River Thames. On the other, a direct look at Craven Cottage, the home of Fulham Football Club. A private balcony ran the length of the room, giving guests a spot to step out, take in the river views, and continue conversations.

Fulham Pier hosts a full year-round events programme itself, along with a range of event spaces available for conferences, meetings, and private functions.
