The latest Kia Oval Business Club event marked the start of the summer of match day networking at the venue, taking place in the Pakistan Room with the weather playing its part.
Guests enjoyed arrival teas, coffees and drinks out on the Pakistan Room terrace, with the space used throughout the afternoon.
On the day, the backdrop took care of itself.
Surrey took on Essex in day one of their Rothesay County Championship match, and guests had the chance to network in our renowned, relaxed format throughout the afternoon. The cricket made an easy icebreaker.
A delicious lunch was provided by The Kia Oval, either side of which was time to network and meet members and first-time guests in the room.

Event Partner: Bishop & Sewell
After lunch, guests heard from event partner Bishop & Sewell.
Laura Cotzias, Solicitor in their Family and Divorce team, shared some considerations for those thinking about prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and how the conversation around them has shifted in recent years.
Laura was joined by colleagues from across the Bishop & Sewell team, with the firm represented across a number of practice areas in the room.

Venue Partner: The Kia Oval
Following Laura, Network My Club Founder Bradley Hatchett was joined by Megan Haynes from The Kia Oval.
Megan walked through the variety of conference and event spaces available at the venue, as well as the renovations taking place and due to take place across the lounges.
One of those renovated spaces was on display throughout the day. The Pakistan Room has recently been through an extensive refurbishment and looked stunning.

Welcoming New and Renewing Members and Event Updates
Bradley Hatchett, Founder of Network My Club shared some updates across the membership.
Firstly he recognised and welcome the companies who joined Network My Club across the board last month.
And doing the same for recent renewing members and those there.
He also shared details of events coming up across the Network My Club group, including an exclusive for an exciting one to be announced in London in due course.

It is not long until the next Kia Oval Business Club match day lunch, and it is going to be our increasingly popular Caribbean-themed match day networking event.
If the last two years are anything to go by, this one is not to be missed.
We encourage colourful dress and an embrace of the Caribbean theme, with cricket on in the background.
