‘The Business Soulman’, Nick Brice, joined us at Brighton Hove Albion FC for the March Network Albion Business Club networking breakfast!
Nick helps leaders up their game by using methods developed during a lifetime of award-winning theatre direction and performance, and a wide range of blue chip development projects.
His early management career was spent at American Express where a significant operational and organisational transformation needed an initiative to bring everyone together as people, rather than letting paperwork and processes dominate. However, it was a course with British Airways during their switch from public to private sector – which shaped airline customer culture to this day – that pathed the way to a career of helping businesses improve customer experience with soul. Demonstrating his multifaceted skillset, Nick even had a foray into theatre by starting his own company White Room Theatre, creating sensuous, inspiring and meaningful audience experiences creatively linking the corporate and theatrical worlds.
Following that, Nick was approached by Brighton & Hove Albion FC to work on the launch of the Amex Stadium, uniting the entire organisation to drill into how to make their customer experience the best in the country. Following his incredible results with the Albion, Tottenham Hotspur approached him to work in the same capacity on their 950m, 62,000 capacity ground breaking new stadium. Helping them launch their innovative customer experience, Tottenham now have the highest spend per head and fastest stadium walk in the Premier League.
Nick supplied us with three ways you can improve your customer experience with soul:
1) Tune in to people: inside out
2) Empower people & challenge them: outside in
3) Brilliant basics then wow factors
