You’ve booked your first Network My Club event.

Or you’re considering booking your first event.

Now what?

Naturally, many people want to know what happens next and what to expect from the experience.

We understand how uncomfortable it can feel turning up to a networking event without knowing who will be there or how it works.

That’s why we have built a clear and supportive process to ensure you arrive prepared, confident, and able to make the most of your time.

Before the event: preparation and clarity

After you’ve booked your place, one of the Network My Club team will reach out to introduce ourselves and acknowledge your booking.

This gives you a clear point of contact and an opportunity to ask any initial questions.

2-3 days before the event, you will receive a detailed event information pack. This includes:

• Full venue details, directions, and arrival information
• A clear outline of how the event will run
• Timings and format so you know exactly what to expect
• The full attendee list, including names, companies, job titles, and sectors

The attendee list is particularly important (and often the part most people get excited about).

But we believe the best networking starts before you even enter the room.

Knowing how to review the attendee list is important too and allows you to identify people you would like to meet and arrive with focus.

We also include guidance on how to approach the event, encouraging an open mindset and a relationship-first approach rather than a transactional one.

On arrival: a warm welcome and relaxed environment

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the Network My Club team.

Your name badge will be ready, and we will help you settle in and feel comfortable straight away.

Right away you can grab some refreshments and start conversations naturally. Around the room, you will also find access to the attendee list so you can easily remind yourself.

If there is anyone specific you would like to meet, our team, along with experienced members and Network My Club Champions, are there to help facilitate introductions and ensure you get the most from the event.

The event itself follows a proven format, refined over many years. This creates a relaxed yet effective environment where conversations can develop naturally.

Depending on the venue, events may also include experiences such as live sport, hospitality, or unique venue access, creating an enjoyable and memorable setting for building relationships.

After the event: next steps

The event does not end when you leave the room.

Following your first event, a member of our team will follow up with you with a call to understand how you found it, gather feedback, and explore if membership is a good fit for your business.

This meeting is scheduled prior to the event, and

This means the conversation is primed to allow us to:

• Learn how you found the event
• Understand more about your business
• Explore if membership is aligned to your plans
• Understand which membership option, if any, is best suited for the company

Prior to this conversation, you’ll be asked to complete our membership suitability quiz, which helps guide the conversation, gives me a more context, and more time on the call to learn about the business.

There is no pressure. The purpose is simply to help you make an informed decision based on firsthand experience.

In summary

Before your first event, you’ll be fully prepared!

No arriving completed blind, not knowing what to expect.

During the event, you’ll be welcomed and supported, by us and regular members.

After the event, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect and decide whether membership is the right next step.

This process, honed from delivering hundreds over events now, ensures you never feel like you are walking into the unknown and allows you to approach it confidently from your very first visit.

We look forward to welcoming you!
