Event Information

An online networking event for businesses from across the South East and London.

When? Thursday 13th August – 10am-11.30am.

Who for? Business owner, directors and senior-level attendees, seeking to network with businesses in the South East and London.

Where is the event hosted? Remo. Online networking platform Remo allows attendees to network freely around the ‘room’ on different tables. Have intimate group conversations. Participate in interactive Q&A’s. Find out what to expect and how to prepare for a Remo meetup here.

How much? Free to Network My Club Members. Non-members are very welcome to book places. All places to be booked below.

Guest Speaker: Sarah Williams

-8 years working in finance in the City before setting up Tough Girl Challenges as a way of motivating and inspiring women and girls.
– Host of the Tough Girl Podcast, interviewing over 300 inspirational female explorers, adventurers, athletes and everyday women who have overcome great challenges.
– Tough Girl Podcast has been downloaded over 1 Million time in 174 countries. It won the Women’s Sport Trust, Media Initiative of the Year Award and the She Extreme best adventure podcast.
– Completed the Marathon des Sables (6 marathons in 6 days across the Sahara desert). Hiked the Appalachian Trail (2,190 miles) in 100 days. Completed Masters in Women & Gender studies at Lancaster University. Cycled the Pacific Coast Highway and Baja California solo and unsupported (over 4,000 km).

Itinerary for the event:
10.00am – Meetup start and Remo orientation
10.10am – Introduction and welcome from Network My Club
10.15am – 3 x networking sessions via table rotations
10.50am – Guest Speaker
11.10am – Open networking
11.30am – Event wrap up & Close

We will keep the ‘room’ open until 12pm should attendees wish to arrange follow up conversations on tables. 

 

What you’ll need:
– PC or Laptop
– Headphones with built in microphone (recommended)
– Notepad and pen (recommended)
– Quiet environment
– An open-minded approach, smile and friendly manner!

An email will be sent the day prior to the online meetup including: a link to join, a delegate list and a guide on how best to prepare.
